Kari Binns

With a decade-long career in retail energy, I have established myself as a seasoned professional. My journey began in 2009 at US Gas & Electric's compliance department. As a dedicated team member, I handled mediated complaints, organized historical data, and supported the Quality Assurance team. I later joined EDF Energy Services, LLC, playing pivotal roles in internal mergers and expanding into new territories.

In 2014, I joined Great American Power, LLC as a Regulatory Consultant, quickly transitioning to General Counsel. In 2021, I became the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Trieve. I excel in managing communications, handling contracts, and filing reports. My legal acumen extends to collaborating with outside counsel, civil litigation, and M&A projects.

I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2008 and earned my juris doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in 2013, becoming a member of the Texas Bar in 2014. I embody dedication, legal expertise, and a commitment to excellence in the retail energy industry.
