Ben Kelly

Ben Kelly most recently served as a senior power trader at Energy Harbor from February 2020 to March of 2024. His responsibilities included trading power and natural gas for Energy Harbor’s extensive retail power business and the company’s PJM generation fleet.

Ben began his career in the unregulated power industry at FirstEnergy Solutions. He held various roles in commodity risk management and the commercial operations team in The FES integrated generation and retail power business.

Throughout his career he has worked closely with retail sales teams, structuring and pricing desks, forecasting groups and generation desks to capture commercial opportunities through the wholesale energy markets.

Mr. Kelly is proud to have been part of the team that saw the FirstEnergy Solutions business through a complex and lengthy bankruptcy and helped grow and reposition Energy Harbor, the post-bankruptcy business, eventually resulting in a successful acquisition by Vistra.
